Our mission is for every customer to be satisfied with the products and cooperation that we offer.
Our vision is to utilize the know-how of our employees, in addition to investing in development and production, in order to remain a competitive manufacturer on the European market with a brand that stands for quality and reliability.
History
Lož Metalpres d.o.o. has been operating since 1961, and our long-standing tradition goes hand in hand with the high quality of our products.
1960s
On 4 November 1961, the People’s Committee of the Municipality of Čabar decided on establishing a metalware workshop in the village of Plešce.
In 1966, the business changed its name to Metalpres, poduzeće za preradu metala (Metalpres metal processing company), and operated on the premises of the local cooperative.
In 1969, a partnership with the Slovenian Kovinoplastika Lož was established. As a result, we started producing plastic siphons.
1970s
In 1974, Metalpres became a basic organization of associated labour (OOUR Metalpres Plešce), within the labour organization RO Kovinoplastika Lož, and in 1976, it relocated to a new manufacturing plant, where it still operates.
1980s
In 1989, OOUR Metalpres was turned into a work unit of the Slovenian company Kovinoplastika Lož and registered under Kovinoplastika Lož p.o., PE Metalpres Plešce.
1990s
Another status change ensued with the independence and sovereignty of the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Slovenia, with the limited liability company Lož Metalpres d.o.o. Plešce being registered in 1992. The company continues to operate under that name.
This new legal entity received fresh capital from Kovinoplastika Lož and natural persons (employees of PE Metalpres and Kovinoplastika Lož who were Croatian citizens).
2000s
In 2015, Kovinoplastika Lož d.d. sold its interest share in Lož Metalpres d.o.o. to Nirotech d.o.o., whereby Nirotech d.o.o. became the majority owner.

The quality of our products
A modern business must vouch for the quality of its products. Lož Metalpres d.o.o. has received its first ISO 9001 certification in 2007. We currently hold the ISO 9001:2015 certificate for manufacturing plastic and metal products, as well as ISO 13485:2016 for manufacturing medical devices.
